Pitt-Johnstown's men's 4x400-Meter Relay Team earned a first-place finish, before the 4,000-Meter Distance Medley Relay Team capped a strong day by placing third at Saturday's Spire College Indoor Games in Geneva, Ohio.
Domenion Jacobs,
Austin Yarnick,
Sebastian Roman, and
Damian Blum claimed top honors in the 4x400-Meter Relay at 3:27.03, while the 4,000-Meter Distance Medley Relay of
Kaden Markovich,
Nathaniel Thomas,
Tyler Harold, and
Aiden Lechleitner closed out the day by placing third with a time of 11:21.20.
Lechleitner also placed eighth in the Mile Run at 4:23.69, and
Henry Levander placed eighth in the 60-Meter Hurdles at 9.16.
In the field events, the Mountain Cats got and eighth-place showing from
Ryan Porch (6.36m) and a 15-place finish from
Isaiah Dyer (6.09m) in the Long jump.
The Mountain Cats will travel to the University of Akron Invitational on Friday, before competing in the 2026 PSAC Indoor Track and Field Championships at Lehigh University on Feb. 28 and March 1.
