The undefeated and fifth-ranked Pitt-Johnstown wrestling team will celebrate Senior Night with a non-conference match against Frostburg State, Friday evening at 7:00 in the Sports Center.

Second-year Head Coach Tyler Reinhart and the Mountain Cats will finish the 2025-26 home schedule and celebrate Senior Night by recognizing Noah Gnibus (184 lbs.), Trevon Gray (125 lbs.), Bryant Green (184 lbs.), and Isaiah Vance (285 lbs.).

The Mountain Cats improved to 12-0 overall and 5-0 in the PSAC with a 35-14 win over Millersville on Saturday and a 46-3 victory over East Stroudsburg on Wednesday.  Pitt-Johnstown used three straight wins by technical falls to break open the match against the Warriors, then closed it out with falls from Trent Hoover (165 lbs.), Elias Long (174 lbs.), Brad Morrison (197 lbs.), and Vance.

Pitt-Johnstown features a pair of two-time NCAA All-Americans in No. 1-ranked Gray at 125 lbs. and No. 4-ranked Vance at 285 lbs.  The Mountain Cats also have returning national qualifiers in No. 8 Chad Ozias (141 lbs.), Cooper Warshel (157 lbs.), and Gnibus (184 lbs.).

Frostburg State, under third-year Head Coach Josh Hutchens, is 6-5 overall following a 29-10 setback against West Liberty (WV) on Jan. 16.  The Bobcats are also coming off of a third-place finish at last weekend's Mountain East Conference (MEC) Tournament.  Top-ranked Tanner Halling claimed an individual championship at 133 lbs., while Gage Heilbrun was the runner-up at 149 lbs., and Amir Wray-Hill (125 lbs.) and Alex Blake (157 lbs.) both placed third.

Pitt-Johnstown has won both matchups between the teams.  The Mountain Cats earned a 44-6 win over Frostburg State in the first meeting during the 2023-24 season, before handing the Bobcats a 34-10 loss in Frostburg, Md. last season on Jan. 19.  Gray (125 lbs.), Ozias (149 lbs.), and Dakoda Rodgers (197 lbs.) all won by technical fall for Pitt-Johnstown.

Pitt-Johnstown will close out the 2025-26 regular season with a PSAC match at Gannon on Feb. 14 and at the Millersville Futures Tournament on Feb. 21, before going to the NCAA Division II Super Region I Tournament at East Stroudsburg on Feb. 28.
