Pitt-Johnstown junior Eli Ropietski was named PSAC Men's Golf Athlete of the Week when the league off announced this week's honor on Wednesday.

Ropietski shot a 1-under (70) to open the 2026 Indiana (PA) Cecil C. Spadafora Invitational last Tuesday at Indiana Country Club, before shooting a 1-over 72 last Wednesday to claim medalist honors by one stroke over West Chester's Yamato Kimura and by two strokes over Wheeling's Zak Collins.  The Mountain Cats finished third at +29 in the 13-team field, nine strokes behind first-place West Chester and eight strokes behind second-place IUP.

Less than a week later, Ropietski tied for 32nd at +7 at Monday and Tuesday's Pitt-Johnstown Bedford Springs Invitational in Bedford, Pa. after shooting a six-over (78) on Monday and a one-over (73) on Tuesday.
