Coming off of their third straight and seventh overall appearance in the NCAA Division II Atlantic Region Tournament, Head Coach Justin Haupt and the Pitt-Johnstown women's volleyball team have been picked to finish third in the PSAC Western Division when the conference released this year's preseason coaches poll on Thursday.

Gannon garnered seven of the eight first-place votes and was chosen by the coaches to win the PSAC Western Division, while Indiana (PA) received one first-place vote.  In the Eastern Division, Shippensburg earned five of the eight votes for the top spot.  Shepherd got a pair of first-place votes, and East Stroudsburg received the final one.

The Mountain Cats tip-off the 2026 season at the D'Youville (NY) Tournament on Aug. 28 and 29.  Pitt-Johnstown will make its 2026 home debut with PSAC West matches against Clarion and Slippery Rock on Sept. 25 and 26 in the Sports Center.
