Head Coach Mike Drahos and the Pitt-Johnstown women's basketball team will make their 2013-14 home debuts on Thursday when Washington Adventist (MD) University visits the Sports Center for a non-conference contest at 5:30 p.m.

     Pitt-Johnstown tipped-off the season with a 91-80 non-conference loss at Davis & Elkins (WV) College on Tuesday.Â
Kayla DeCriscio hit eight 3-pointers and finished with a career-high 24 points, and
Kelsey Sleighter chipped in 22 points to lead Pitt-Johnstown. The Lady Cats also got a game-high 14 rebounds from
Rachel Johnson and 13 rebounds from
Jasmine Harper in the loss.

     Washington Adventist, under third-year
Head Coach Krista Byrd, comes in with a 2-0 record following a 63-43 victory over Oakwood (AL) University on Nov. 2 and a 66-47 win over Fisher (MA) College on Saturday.Â
Courtney Cayard scored 18 points, and
Jerria Brown-McDaniel added 13 points and 13 rebounds in the win over Oakwood.Â
Cayard then collected a double-double of 24 points and 10 rebounds to lead the Lady Shock over Fisher.

     Pitt-Johnstown and Washington Adventist have not met since January 11, 2007 when the Lady Cats came away with a 71-37 win in Takoma Park, MD.Â
Allison Krischer's game-high 26 points led three Pitt-Johnstown players who scored in double figures.

Pitt-Johnstown will travel to Indiana University (PA) to tip-off the PSAC schedule on Wednesday, before returning home to host a conference doubleheader with the Mountain Cats against Edinboro University on Saturday, November 23 in the Sports Center. The Lady Cats will tip-off at 1 p.m., followed by the men's game at 3 p.m.
