Shippensburg University outscored the Lady Cats 60-35 over the final 24 minutes to erase a nine-point deficit and deal Pitt-Johnstown a 90-74 loss, Tuesday night in the Sports Center.Â
Jasmine Harper's double-double of 15 points and 10 rebounds paced the Lady Cats, who dropped to 3-6 on the season.

The Lady Raiders opened-up a 20-15 advantage on a Stephanie Knauer lay-up eight minutes into the game, before Pitt-Johnstown answered with a 24-10 run over the next eight minutes to build a nine-point lead.

Dominique Smith's bucket at the 8:57 mark gave the Lady Cats their first lead of the night, and
Inaya Stephenson extended it to 39-30 with a basket in the paint with just under four minutes remaining in the half.

However, it was all Shippensburg the rest of the way. The Lady Raiders got a 3-pointer from Sarah Strybuc at the buzzer to cut the deficit to 44-41 at the half.

Shippensburg opened the second half on a 16-1 run to retake the lead and build it to 57-45 on Strybuc's jumper at 13:35.

The Lady Raiders pushed it out to as many as 20 at the midway point of the second half, and went on to the 16-point victory.

Harper's 15 points and 10 rebounds led four lady Cats who scored in double figures.Â
Nicole Carman had 13 points and 10 rebounds, while
Leah Hansen chipped-in 13 points and Stephenson tallied 10 points and six rebounds.Â
Kelsey Sleighter also had eight points and five rebounds in the loss.

Rachel Johnson pulled down three rebounds to put her into a tie for 24
th-place with Denise Gallo (1992-96) on the Lady Cat All-time Rebounding List with 498.

Pitt-Johnstown shot 45.6% (26-57) from the field, 7-23 from behind the 3-point line, but just 15-29 from the free-throw line. Shippensburg, which held a 46-40 advantage on the glass, shot 35.7% (25-70) from the floor and 3-9 from 3-point range. However, the Lady Raiders connected on 37-43 from the charity stripe.

Strybuc's game-high 36 points led the way for Shippensburg. Caitlyn Deeter and Knauer collected 18 and 16 points, respectively for the Lady Raiders, who improved to 7-1 on the year.

The Lady Cats host a doubleheader with the Mountain Cats against Kutztown University on Wednesday starting at 5:30 p.m. in the Sports Center, before closing out the first semester at Mansfield University on Saturday.
