Baseball Falls to Concordia to End Florida Trip

Head Coach Todd Williams' Mountain Cat baseball team slipped to 2-6 on the year following a 9-2 loss Thursday morning to Concordia (NY) College to finish the 2007 Spring Trip in Fort Pierce, FL. Junior second baseman Dan Delsignore (Johnstown, Pa.) and senior outfielder Adam Plummer (Bellwood, Pa.) each had two hits.
Delsignore went 2-for-3, while Plummer was 2-for-4 with a double. Mountain Cat sophomore right hander Eric Faint (Johnstown, Pa.) took the loss after giving up nine hits and three earned runs in six innings of work. Faint also struck out four and walked two.
The Mountain Cats open up the WVIAC conference schedule with doubleheaders on Saturday and Sunday at Bluefield State (WV) College.
