Mountain Cats Fall 10-6 at Bluefield State

Matt Petrowsky (Johnstown, Pa.) had two hits, including a two-run homerun, but the Mountain Cat baseball team suffered a 10-6 loss at Bluefield State (WV) College in a game that was suspended on Saturday and finished on Sunday due to rain. Game two of the scheduled doubleheader was canceled. Pitt Johnstown is now 6-9.
Petrowsky went 2-for-4 with a two run homerun, while Matt Hanley (Delmont, Pa.) banged out two doubles. Dan Delsignore (Johnstown, Pa.), Adam Plummer (Bellwood, Pa.) and Dan Mangini (Lower Burrell, Pa.) also had two hits in the loss. Junior right hander Ben Watkins (Johnstown, Pa.) took the loss and fell to 1-2. Watkins surrendered eight runs on 11 hits in three innings-pitched.
With the win, Bluefield State improved to 7-6.
