Mountain Cat Soccer Falls, 4-0, at Salem International

The Mountain Cat soccer team was unable to recover after giving up a pair of first half goals and suffered a 4-0 loss Saturday afternoon at Salem International (WV) University. Head Coach Eric Kinsey's team slipped to 6-5-1 on the year.
The Tigers built a 2-0 halftime lead on the Mountain Cats with goals at 17:58 and 18:49, before adding second half goals at 61:02 and 85:18 to set the final score at 4-0.
Sophomore forward Jason Swope (Indiana, Pa.) collected five of Pitt Johnstown's 10 shots, including three shots on goal. However, Salem International goalkeeper Bogadan Udovicic did not surrender a goal.
Mountain Cat goalkeeper Craig Neff (Elizabethtown, Pa.) made six saves, but took the loss and dropped to 5-5-1.
With the victory, Salem International improved to 3-8-1 on the season.
The Mountain Cats return home to host La Roche College on Tuesday at 4:00 p.m., before traveling to West Virginia Wesleyan College on Friday.
