Men's Soccer Battles to 0-0 Tie With WV Wesleyan

Head Coach Eric Kinsey's Mountain Cat soccer team battled West Virginia Wesleyan College 90 minutes in regulation time and 20 overtime minutes, but neither team was able to find the back of the net and settled for a 0-0 tie in WVIAC conference action, Saturday afternoon. The Mountain Cats are now 8-3-1 overall and 3-1-1 in the WVIAC.
Pitt Johnstown sophomore goalkeeper Craig Neff (Elizabethtown, Pa.) faced 20 shots and made six saves, while West Virginia Wesleyan goalkeeper Andrew Baldasare saw 16 shots and also made six saves in the tie.
West Virginia Wesleyan is now 5-6-2 overall and 3-2-1 in conference play.
The Mountain Cats begin a stretch of three straight WVIAC road matches at Seton Hill University on Tuesday. Pitt Johnstown will host its next home match against Ohio Valley (WV) University on Saturday, October 20 at 4:00 p.m.
