Men's Soccer Dealt 2-0 Loss at Charleston

The University of Charleston (WV) used a pair of second half goals to break open a scoreless match and hand the Mountain Cat soccer team a 2-0 road conference loss on Sunday. Pitt-Johnstown dropped to 3-5-0 overall and 1-1-0 in the WVIAC.
After a scoreless first half, Charleston got on the scoreboard when Rob Vincent took a breakaway and beat Mountain Cat goalkeeper Craig Neff (Elizabethtown, Pa.) in the 53rd minute. The Golden Eagles added an insurance goal in the 76th minute. Dion Peters set up Darko Karamatic, who found the back of the net behind Neff to set the final at 2-0.
Chaleston held on to its lead atop the WVIAC standings and improved to 6-2-0 overall and 3-0-0 in conference play.
The Mountain Cats return home to host a conference match against Alderson-Broaddus (WV) College on Wednesday at 4 p.m., before hosting Shepherd (WV) University in a WVIAC match on Saturday at 2 p.m.
