Lady Cat Soccer Suffers 4-0 Loss at Concord

Concord (WV) University climbed out to a 3-0 first half lead and went on to hand the Lady Cat soccer team 4-0 road loss, Sunday afternoon. With the loss, Pitt-Johnstown fell to 3-9-0 overall and 2-4-0 in WVIAC play.
Concord opened the scoring with a goal just three mintues into the match, before adding two more goals in the 15th and 34th minute to take a 3-0 halftime lead. The Mountain Lions then set the final score at 4-0 with a goal that got by Pitt-Johnstown goalkeeper Stephanie Paha (Slickville, Pa.) with 14 minutes left on the clock.
Paha faced 13 Concord shots and made five saves, but took the loss and fell to 3-7-0 on the season. Sarah Coelho earned the shutout in goal for the Mountain Lions after seeing nine shots and making three saves.
With the victory, Concrod improved to 6-7-0 overall and 4-1-0 in conference play.
The Lady Cats host WVIAC rival Seton Hill University on Thursday at 4:00 p.m., before traveling to Bloomsburg University for a non-conference match on Saturday.
