Mountain Cat Wrestlers Dominate 2007 East Coast Duals With Six Wins

Pitt Johnstown followed that shutout with a 25-10 over Newberry. Derrek Bosso (125 lbs.) (Pequea, Pa.) started the match with a forfeit win, before Reasy gave the Mountain Cats a 9-3 lead with an 8-1 win over Andrew Young. Newberry picked up a major decision win at 141 lbs., but Cook (149 lbs.) and Strittmatter followed with a decision and a major decison, respectively to put the Mountain Cats up, 16-4. Miles increased the lead to 19-4 with an 8-1 win over #5 Brandon Kelly at 165 lbs. Newberry's Quinn Tolbert, ranked #7, then upset Garshnick (174 lbs.), 5-2. However, Pitt Johnstown got a 6-3 decision by Corcetti at 184 lbs. and a 7-2 decision by Fowler at 197 lbs. Newberry closed out the match with a 7-2 victory at heavyweight to set the final score at 25-10.
