California University (PA) used a 26-9 run over the final eight minutes of the first half to open up a 16-point halftime advantage on its way to handing the Lady Cats a 94-65 PSAC West road loss on Wednesday.Â

The Vulcans responded by outscoring Pitt-Johnstown 26-9 the rest of the way. Elena Antonenko basket in the paint pushed California Pa.'s lead into double figures, before two free-throws with two seconds left from Kate Seebohm put the Vulcans in front 45-29 at the break.
