Thirteenth-ranked Seton Hill scored 13 runs over the final two innings to break open a tie game on its way to handing the Mountain Cats a 16-5 PSAC Western Division loss, Saturday afternoon at Point Stadium. The Griffins went on to complete the sweep with a 23-10 victory in the nightcap. Pitt-Johnstown fell to 2-18 overall and 2-4 in the PSAC-West.

With the score tied 3-3 in the top of the sixth in game one, Seton Hill exploded for nine runs on eight hits, before tacking on four more runs in the seventh to go on to the 16-5 victory.

Ernesto Rizzitano had two double and drove in a pair, while
Nico Pecora drove in two with an RBI single in the Pitt-Johnstown fourth inning.Â
Jake Stern also had an RBI for the Mountain Cats.

Nate Pope suffered the loss on the mound for Pitt-Johnstown and slipped to 0-5. Pope gave up seven earned runs on eight hits over the first 5.1 innings.Â
Shane Supanick allowed five runs, and
Nathan Bearer surrendered the four runs in the seventh.

Nick Sell, Chris Miller, and Taylor Schmidt all belted homeruns for the Griffins, while Pat McCarthy had two doubles to lead Seton Hills 16 hit attack.

The Mountain Cats wrap-up the four-game PSAC series at Seton Hill on Sunday, before hosting a single 9-inning game against Bloomsburg on Tuesday at 3 p.m. at Point Stadium.Â
