The Mountain Cat baseball team belted four homeruns, including a pair from 
Jake Stern, on its way a 15-9 non-conference victory over Indiana (PA), Saturday evening in Williamston, NC.  Pitt-Johnstown picked-up its first win of the year and improved to 1-3.
Stern went 3-for-5 with two homers and four RBI, while Dylan Boyer added three hits, a homerun, and two RBI to lead  the Mountain Cats.  Pitt-Johnstown also got a solo homer from 
Nate Negri, three hits from 
Joe Gagliardi, and two hits from 
Ernesto Rizzitano.
Freshman 
Ty Treaster earned his first collegiate victory after pitching 1.1 innings in relief of Mountain Cat starter 
Tyler Black.  Black allowed four unearned runs on four hits over the first 4.2 innings in the no-decision.  
Nico Pecora held the Crimson Hawks scoreless over the final two innings to secure his first save.
With the loss, Indiana (PA) slipped to 1-2 to start the year.
Pitt-Johnstown closes out its weekend in North Carolina against Bloomsburg University on Sunday at 9 a.m., before traveling to Concord (WV) University for a 3-game non-conference series next weekend.Â
