PSAC West Athlete of the Year IUP's Brandon Norfleet and PSAC East Athlete of the Year Kutztown's Josh Johnson headline the 2016 PSAC Men's Basketball All-Conference teams, as selected by the league's head coaches.

Spencer Casson of Seton Hill won the West's Defensive Athlete of the Year accolade, while West Chester's Matt Wiseley earned the East's Defensive Athlete of the Year distinction.

IUP's Dante Lombardi was awarded the PSAC West Freshman of the Year, and West Chester's Malik Jackson was named the PSAC East Freshman of the Year.

Kutztown's head coach Bernie Driscoll is the East Coach of the Year.

2015-16 marks the first Rukavina has been named the PSAC West Coach of the Year since Pitt-Johnstown joined the conference in 2013. Â Since taking over the Mountain Cat program in 1989, Rukavina has posted seven 20-win seasons and has guided Pitt-Johnstown to four NCAA Regional Tournament appearances. Â This year, Rukavina guided Pitt-Johnstown to a 18-11 overall record, a fourth-place finish in the PSAC West, and an appearance in the PSAC Conference Tournament Quarterfinals.Â

Leahey, a native of Lilly, Pa. and a graduate of Penn Cambria, was selected to All-PSAC West First-Team for the second consecutive year after leading the Mountain Cats in both scoring (17.5 ppg.) and rebounding (8.1 rpg.). He scored in 1,000
th point against Indiana University (PA) in the PSAC Quarterfinals on March 1. Leahey, a 2015-16 First-Team Academic All-District choice, currently stands in seventh-place on the Pitt-Johnstown All-Time 3-point Field Goals List with 167.

Snodgrass was a Second-Team All-PSAC West selection in 2015-16. Snodgrass led the Mountain Cats in 3-point field goal percentage (46.5%) and was second on the team in scoring (14.2 ppg.), assists (107), and 3-point field goals made (59). The native of Butler, Pa. and graduate of Butler Area High School, was also a 1015-16 First-Team Academic All-District selection.
