Pitt-Johnstown bounced back from Sunday's non-conference doubleheader loss to 23
rd-ranked East Stroudsburg University by sweeping the Warriors, 5-4 and 11-9 in exciting fashion Monday afternoon at Point Stadium to improve to 4-7 on the season.

In the opener'
Joe Gagliardi's two-out single to right centerfield in the bottom of the seventh chased home
Derek Cook to give Pitt-Johnstown the 5-4 walk-off victory. In game two,
Dylan Kerstetter's 3-run homerun in the bottom of the sixth inning broke an 8-8 tie and gave the Mountain Cats the sweep with the win.

Luke Williams went 4-for-7 with two homeruns and five RBI in the doubleheader, while Gagliardi wrapped-up the day with six hits and four RBI.

East Stroudsburg struck for a pair of first inning runs off of Pitt-Johnstown starter
Ty Treaster in game one. Robbie Bennie drove the second pitch of the game over the left-centerfield wall, and Matt Walewski's one-out sacrifice fly plated Ian Allen.

The Mountain Cats came back with three runs in the bottom of the third.Â
Jake Stern's two-out, two-run double off of the left field screen scored
Devon Walker and
Ernesto Rizzitano. Stern then scored from third on Williams' ground ball that was misplayed by Walewski.

The Warriors tied it at three in the fifth with an unearned run off of Pitt-Johnstown
Trentin Martin. With two outs, Bennie scored on
Joe Gagliardi's throwing error.

Williams' solo homer in the bottom of the frame gave the lead right back to Pitt-Johnstown, but Connor Crookham's RBI double in the East Stroudsburg tied it at four.

However, Gagliardi's walk-off base hit in the bottom of the seventh off of East Stroudsburg reliever Cody Klinger gave the Mountain Cats the win.

Ben Foose earned the victory in relief after allowing one run on three hits in the East Stroudsburg seventh inning. Treaster started and got the no-decision after holding the Warriors to two runs on three hits over the first four innings.

Williams went 2-for-4 with a homer, while stern had two hits and drove in a pair to lead Pitt-Johnstown. Gagliardi also had two hits for the Mountain Cats.

In the nightcap, Gagliardi's RBI single in the Mountain Cat first inning gave Pitt-Johnstown the early lead, before the Warriors came back with three runs in the top of the second off of Nate Bearer.

Williams' second homerun of the day, a two-run shot to left field, tied it at three in the bottom of the third, and Kerstetter's sacrifice fly with one out gave the lead back to Pitt-Johnstown.

The Mountain Cats added four more in the fourth. Williams doubled home two, and Gagliardi followed with a two-run single up the middle to make it 8-3.

East Stroudsburg scored five (2 earned) in the fifth off of Pitt-Johnstown reliever Logan Flute to tie it, before
Shane Supanick was able to get the Mountain Cats out of the inning.

However, Kersetter's three-run blast in the Mountain Cat sixth proved to be the game-winner the helped Pitt-Johnstown complete the sweep.

After allowing a one-out homerun in the Warriors' seventh inning, Supanick got the next two hitters to secure his first win of the year.

Supanick pitched 2.2 innings and allowed just one run on two hits. Bearer tossed the first four innings and surrendered three runs on two hits in the no-decision.

Gagliardi went 4-for-4 with a triple and four RBI, while Williams homered, doubled and drove in four for the Mountain Cats. Kerstetter homered and had four RBI, and
Evan Appleby, Rizzitano, and Boyer all had three hits.

With the sweep, East Stroudsburg slipped to 10-2.

The Mountain Cats will host non-conference doubleheaders against Fairmont State (WV) University on Wednesday and Shippensburg University on Friday at 1 p.m. at Point Stadium, before traveling to Shippensburg for a nine-inning game on Saturday.Â
