Levi Masua scored a game-high 20 points and grabbed nine rebounds off the bench to help the Mountain Cats build a 28-point halftime lead in a 93-65 Senior Day victory over Slippery Rock, Saturday afternoon in the Sports Center. Pitt-Johnstown closed out the regular season at 18-10 overall and 13-9 in the PSAC Western Division.

The Mountain Cats earned the No. 3 seed and will host a First Round PSAC Tournament game against California (PA) of Seton Hill on Monday at 7 p.m. in the Sports Center.

The Mountain Cats dominated The Rock from the opening tip.Â
Isaac Vescovi's 3-pointer eight minutes in gave Pitt-Johnstown a 13-point lead, before Masua's lay-up increased it to 36-13 at the 5:50 mark.

Pitt-Johnstown continued to pour it on and got a lay-up from Masua with 18 second remaining to extend it to 48-20 at the break.

It was more of the same in the second half as Pitt-Johnstown built it to as many as 36, before coasting to the 28-point victory.

Laravie's conventional 3-point play at 14:45 made it a 31-point game. Leahey hit a 3-pointer at 7:31, and Laravie followed with another bucket to push it out to 78-42 with 7:03 to play.

Pitt-Johnstown held at least a 30-point lead until Milly Raye knocked down a 3-pointer with 2:25.

Masua's 20 points and nine rebounds led four Mountain Cats who scored in double figures. Leahey had 19 points, while Vescovi had 15 points and six rebounds, and Laravie collected 12 points. Pitt-Johnstown also got nine points from
Josh Wise, seven points and five assists from
Dale Clancy, and seven points and four rebounds from
Olando King, Jr.

Leahey is seventh on the Mountain Cat All-Time Scoring List with 1,514 points, fifth on the all-time rebounding list with 686, and fourth on the 3-point field goals list with 237. Clancy stands in eighth-place on the Mountain Cat All-Time Assists List with 374 and is 18 points shy of becoming Pitt-Johnstown's 28
th 1,000-point scorer.

George Chase scored 14 points and Naquil Jones tallied 12 points to lead Slippery Rock, which slipped to 14-14 overall and 10-12 in the PSAC West.
