th 1,000-point scorer, and the third-seeded Mountain Cats build a 35-point halftime lead in a lopsided 112-53 victory over sixth-seeded Seton Hill University to open the 2017 PSAC Tournament, Monday night in the Sports Center.

Pitt-Johnstown made it five straight wins to improve to 19-10 and advances to take on second-seeded Gannon University in Wednesday's PSAC Quarterfinals at the Hammermill Center in Erie.

Isaac Vescovi, the PSAC West Player of the Week, led all scorers and six Pitt-Johnstown players who scored in double figures with 24 points and seven rebounds. Clancy had 18 points and a game-high assists, while
Levi Masua collected a double-double of 15 points and 10 rebounds off the bench. Leahey finished with 14 points and seven rebounds,
Jake Laravie had 11 points and six assists, and
Romano Sebastiani had 10 points on a night that saw all 11 Mountain Cats in uniform score at least three points.

Pitt-Johnstown dominated from the opening tip. The Mountain Cats raced out to 23-2 lead eight minutes into the game on baskets from Leahey and Vescovi and pushed it out to 36 on Laravie's bucket with 46 seconds left in the half.

The Mountain Cats continued to pour it on in the second half. Clancy's basket at the 13-minute mark increased it to 50, before Olando King's 3-pointer at 5:44 gave Pitt-Johnstown its largest lead of the night at 104-41.

Sebastiani 3-pointer with 3:52 to play matched the 63-point lead, and the Mountain Cats coasted into the quarterfinals.

Pitt-Johnstown shot an impressive 55.4% (46-83) from the field, including 62.5% in the first half. The Mountain Cats were also 15-33 from 3-point range and 5-6 from the free-throw line.

Seton Hill was held to just 35.5% (22-62) shooting from the floor, 6-23 from behind the 3-point line and 3-7 from the charity stripe.

Leahey is seventh on the Mountain Cat All-Time Scoring List with 1,528 points, fifth on the all-time rebounding list with 693, and fourth on the 3-point field goals list with 239. Clancy stands in 28
th-place on the all-time scoring list and eighth-place on the Mountain Cat All-Time Assists List with 383.
