The Pitt-Johnstown men's and women's basketball teams will host a PSAC Western Division doubleheader against Top-5 ranked Indiana (PA), Wednesday night in the Sports Center. The women will tip-off against the third-ranked Crimson Hawks at 5:30 p.m., before the Mountain Cats take on IUP's third-ranked men's team at 7:30 p.m.

Pitt-Johnstown, under sixth-year
Head Coach Mike Drahos, improved to 12-11 overall and 8-8 in the PSAC after Saturday's 63-51 victory at Clarion.Â
Alli McGrath, the PSAC West Player of the Week, poured in a game-high 25 points, while
Gabrielle Smith had a double-double of 13 points and 11 rebounds, and
Tori Moreland added 11 points. The Mountain Cats also earned a 73-68 win at Edinboro last Wednesday.

With her 13 points on Saturday, Smith moved to within 31 points of becoming Pitt-Johnstown's 38
th 1,000-point scorer.

Nationally, Smith ranks second in both free-throws made (182) and attempted (227) and 19
th in scoring (19.9 ppg.), and
Nicole Olkosky is 60
th in blocked shots (37).

Head Coach Tom McConnell's (6
th season) third-ranked Indiana (PA) Crimson Hawks increased their win streak to five games with a 66-62 win at Gannon on Saturday.Â
Carolyn Appleby scored a game-high 23 points and
Lauren Wolosik chipped-in 19 points. IUP also defeated Slippery Rock, 88-51, last Wednesday.

Nationally, Wolosik is fifth in assist-to-turnover ratio (3.3), sixth in assists per game (6.4 apg.), and 32
nd is total assists (102), and
Brittany Robinson ranks 12
th in field goal percentage (59.4%).

On January 5, IUP dealt Pitt-Johnstown a 73-45 loss in the Kovalchick Complex.
 McGrath's 15 points and six rebounds, and
Smith's 14 points led the Mountain Cats. The Crimson Hawks got 17 points and 10 rebounds from
Lexi Griggs and 16 points from
Appleby.

Head Coach Bob Rukavina's Mountain Cats slipped to 13-10 overall and 8-8 in the PSAC following a 96-88 loss at Edinboro last Wednesday and a 71-66 setback at Clarion on Saturday.Â
Caiden Landis scored 18 points and grabbed eight rebounds, while
Josh Wise had 16 points and seven rebounds, and
Marcin Wiszomirski had 13 points against the Golden Eagles.

th-place on the Mountain Cat All-Time Scoring List with 1,026 points, eight points shy of

Malik Miller had a game-high 22 points,
Dante Lombardi had 18 points, and
Diaz tallied 14 points and 10 rebounds on Saturday.

Nationally, Diaz ranks eighth in double-doubles (12) and 29
th in rebounds per game (9.4 rpg.), while Lombardi ranks 23
rd in both steals per game (2.36 spg.) and total assists (130), and 31
st in assists per game (5.7 apg.).

Wednesday marks the 61
st meeting between Pitt-Johnstown and IUP. The Crimson Hawks hold a 42-17 advantage in the series that dates back to the 1970-71 season, including an 86-73 victory in Indiana on January 5.Â
Kromka's 20 points and six rebounds, and
Wise's 14 points and five rebounds led four Mountain Cat double-figure scorers. The Crimson Hawks got a game-high 25 points from
Miller and 21 points and a game-high nine rebounds from
Willem Brandwijk.

Both Pitt-Johnstown teams travel to PSAC games at California (PA) on Saturday and Seton Hill next Wednesday, before returning home to host Senior Day with a conference doubleheader against Slippery Rock on February 23 and 1 and 3 p.m. in the Sports Center.
