Pitt-Johnstown baseball team returns home to host a non-conference, nine-inning game against Lock Haven University on Tuesday at 3 p.m. at Point Stadium.

Pitt-Johnstown, 11-6 under
Head Coach Todd Williams, is coming off of a four-game, non-conference weekend split with Shippensburg. On Friday, the Mountain Cats swept Shippensburg 7-4 and 4-3 at Point Stadium. The Raiders came back with 5-3 and 10-2 wins in Shippensburg on Saturday.Â
Scott Thompson went 6-for-12 with a homerun and eight RBI in the series, and
Dylan Heid held Shippensburg scoreless on just one hit over the first five innings in Friday's 4-3 win. Heid also fanned 10.

Head Coach Heath Stover's Lock Haven Bald Eagles split four games at Winston-Salem State (NC) over the weekend and come in at 6-6-1. The Bald Eagles dropped the first two game, but answered with 8-3 and 7-5 wins on Sunday.

Pitt-Johnstown and Lock Haven last met on March 8, 2017, and the Bald Eagles earned a 14-10 win at Point Stadium.Â
Cayden Stover went 5-6 with a homerun and two RBI, and
Keyshawn D'Orso and
Evan McFarland each homered for the Bald Eagles. Pitt-Johnstown got a two-run homerun from
Evan Appleby and three RBI from
Jack Shirk.

Pitt-Johnstown opens PSAC-play with a doubleheader against Mercyhurst on Friday at 1 p.m. at Point Stadium, before completing the four-game conference series with the Lakers in Erie on Saturday.
