The Pitt-Johnstown baseball team will open a four-game PSAC Western Division series against Seton Hill University with a doubleheader on Saturday at 1 p.m. at Point Stadium.Â
Head Coach Todd Williams, Pitt-Johnstown's "winningest" baseball coach, enters the series against Seton Hill needing one win to reach 500 for his career.
The Mountain Cats, 20-16 overall and 8-10 in the PSAC West, lost three-out-of-four to Gannon last weekend.Â
Scott Thompson scored on a sixth inning wild pitch to help Pitt-Johnstown to a 3-2 win in game two of the series.Â
Braxton Roxby tossed a complete-game and allowed two runs on just two hits.
Seton Hill, under 15

Head Coach Marc Marizzaldi, is 22-18 overall and 11-9 in the PSAC West. The Griffins swept a pair of non-conference games at Lock Haven on Tuesday.Â
Andrew Chuba had three hits, including a double, and two RBI in a 6-2 win in the opener. The Griffins completed the sweep with an 8-6 win behind
Denny Parker's home run, double and four RBI.
Last season, Seton Hill won 3-out-of-4 games in the season series. The Mountain Cats earned a 3-2 walk-off victory in game one at Point Stadium on April, but the Griffins came back with an 11-7 win in the nightcap, before sweeping Pitt-Johnstown, 9-2 and 9-4 in Greensburg on April 21.

Pitt-Johnstown travels to PSAC doubleheaders at Slippery Rock on Tuesday and Clarion on Friday, before celebrating Senior Day and wrapping up the four-game conference series against the Golden Eagles next Saturday at 1 p.m. at Point stadium.
