Todd Williams and the Mountain Cat baseball program will close out the 2019 season and recognize 11 seniors between games of Saturday's PSAC doubleheader against Clarion University at Point Stadium. Due to the forecast of rain, Saturday's doubleheader will now start at noon.

Coach Todd Williams and the Mountain Cats, 21-19 overall and 9-13 in the PSAC West, lost 3-out-of-4 to Seton Hill last weekend. Pitt-Johnstown dropped Saturday's opener at Point Stadium 18-4, before a 5-4 win in the nightcap gave Williams his 500
th career win. Seton hill then swept the Mountain Cats 4-3 and 6-5 in Greensburg on Sunday. Tuesday's doubleheader at Slippery Rock was cancelled due to rain.
Clarion, under third-year
Head Coach Anthony Williams, is 17-27 overall and 7-17 in the PSAC West. The Golden Eagles have lost their last five games, including four straight to Mercyhurst last weekend. Last Saturday, the Lakers swept Clarion 10-5 and 5-2 in Erie, before earning a 2-1 and a 10-9 win in 14 innings last Sunday.
Last season, Pitt-Johnstown and Clarion split the four-game series with each team sweeping doubleheaders at its home field. On April 27, the Mountain Cats swept Clarion, 11-4 and 10-9 at Point Stadium. Two days later, the Golden Eagles came away with 7-6 and 8-4 victories in Clarion.
