Olivia Fasick from Bishop McDevitt High School and 2019 AAA All-State choice
Makalyn Clapper from Penn Cambria High School.
"We are very pleased with the group of freshmen we brought in," Coach Drahos said. "We have five players who are skilled on the basketball court, know how to win, and will add to the culture of our program. But, overall, they are great individuals off the court as well. We are excited for the season to begin."

Makalyn Clapper Freshman Guard 5'8" Gallitzin, Pa. / Penn Cambria High School
Makalyn Clapper, a 2018-19 PIAA AAA All-State selection, ended her career at Penn Cambria High School with 1,184 points, 912 rebounds, and 546 steals.
A four-year letter-winner in both basketball and volleyball and a one-year letter-winner in track and field, Clapper was an
Altoona Mirror All-Star choice in basketball and volleyball after leading Penn Cambria to District 6 titles and the school's first PIAA State Tournament wins in both sports.
As a track and field athlete, Clapper qualified for the District 6 Meet in the 300-Meter Hurdles and High Jump.
Clapper was coached by Keith Saleme at Penn Cambria High School.
She is the daughter of David and Jessica Clapper.
Olivia Fasick Freshman Guard 5'8" Harrisburg, Pa / Bishop McDevitt High School
A three-time PIAA AAAA All-State selection at Bishop McDevitt High School,
Olivia Fasick was a 1,000-point scorer who averaged 19 points and seven rebounds per game as a senior in 2018-19.
Fassick, a four-year letter-winner in basketball and soccer, led Bishop McDevitt to a MidPenn Conference Championship in 2016-17, three Keystone titles, and a berth in the PIAA AAAA State Quarterfinals three straight years.
Fasick was coached by Kevin Dupes at Bishop McDevitt High School.
She is the daughter of Robyn and Sean Fasick.
Kashyra Jackson Freshman Guard/Forward 6'0" Dearborn Heights, MI / Arbor Preparatory H.S.
Kashyra Jackson was a four-year letter-winner who led Arbor Preparatory High School to a pair of Michigan State Runner-up finishes.
Jackson scored a career-high 33 points against Huron High School and also pulled down a career-high 17 rebounds.
Academically, Jackson was a member of the National Junior Honor Society who accumulated more than 127 hours of community service.
Jackson was coached by Scott Stine and Rod Wells at Arbor Preparatory High School.
She is the daughter of Matthew Dorosh and Tiffany Jackson.
Ashley Norling Freshman Forward 6'0" Pittsburgh, Pa. / Our Lady of the Sacred Heart H.S.
Ashley Norling scored 1,107 career points, including 35 against Montour High School, on her way to leading Our Lady of the Sacred Heart High School to four consecutive berths in the WPIAL and PIAA AA State Playoffs.
Norling was named the WPIAL Championship Game Most Valuable Player in 2019 guiding Our Lady of the Sacred Heart to the title.
In the classroom, Norling was a member of the National Honor Society and a highest honors student all four years in high school.
Norling was coached by Donald Eckerle at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart High School.
She is the daughter of Jay and Melissa Norling.
Lindsay Shuke Freshman Guard 5'8" Everett, Pa. / Bedford High School
Lindsay Shuke was a four-year letter-winner in basketball where she finished her career as Bedford High School third all-time leading scorer with 1,256 points.
Shuke, Bedford High School's Athlete of the year in 2018-19 and a three-time Outstanding Offensive Player Award winner, averaged 16 points per game as a senior and set the school's single-game 3-point record with eight against United High School
In addition to basketball, Shuke was also a four-year letter-winner in tennis and posted a 69-6 overall career record.
Shuke, a High Honors student all four years in high school, played for Mark Dillow at Bedford High School.
She is the daughter of Blaine and Melody Shuke.
Following an exhibition game at the University of Pittsburgh on November 1, Pitt-Johnstown will open the 2019-20 regular season against Virginia State University and Fayetteville State (NC) University at the Shepherd (WV) University Tip-Off Tournament on November 8 and 9. The Mountain Cats will make their home debut and begin a stretch of four straight home games again Wheeling (WV) University on November 16 at 1 p.m. in the Sports Center.
