Connor Harriman finished first in both the 3,000 and 5,000-Meter Runs and was the runner-up in the Mile Run to pace the Pitt-Johnstown men at the 2020 PSAC Indoor Track and Field Championships in Edinboro.
Pitt-Johnstown placed ninth in the 11-team field with 31 points. Shippensburg claimed the team title with 171 points. East Stroudsburg was second with 123.5 points, and Slippery Rock (86 pts.), Seton Hill (68 pts.), and Indiana (PA0 (60 pts.) rounded out the Top-5.
Harriman won the 3,000-Meter Run with a time of 8:44.13 and the 5,000-Meter Run at 15:20.65. Harriman then was the runner-up in the Mile Run at 4:21.59.
The Mountain Cats also got a seventh-place finish from
Ken Azzarello in the 800-Meter Run (1:58.16) and a 10th-place finish from
Ryan Karlheim in the 60-Meter Dash (7.44).
The 4x800 Relay Team of
Michael Hanik,
Turner Paul, and
Austin Farmerie placed eighth at 9:07.12. In addition, the 4x400 Relay Team of Azzarello,
Alex Colosimo,
Daniel Heller, and Paul placed ninth (3:32.34), and the Distance Medley Team of Hanik, Paul, Heller, and
Robert Bell finished ninth (11:23.32).
In the field events,
Chris Colligan tied for 10th in the High Jump (1.93m), and
Brock Fisher placed 10th in the Pole Vault (4.00m).
