Eight Pitt-Johnstown wrestlers were named to one of the three All-PSAC Teams, while Pat Pecora earned Coach of the Year honors, and Jacob Ealy was selected as the Freshman of the Year when this year's teams as voted on by the conference's coaches were released on Thursday.

Pecora, who earned his 617th career win to become college's wrestling's all-time winningest coach on February 7 with a 22-12 victory over Mercyhurst in the Sports Center, led the Mountain Cats to a 21-3 overall record, a perfect 7-0 mark in the PSAC, and the program's fifth straight PSAC Dual Meet Championship.  On February 29, Pecora then guided his Mountain Cats to their 23rd NCAA Regional title on his way to being named the NCAA Regional Coach of the Year for the 19th time.  Pitt-Johnstown came away with four regional champions, a pair of regional runners-up, and a total of eight NCAA National Tournament qualifiers.  Pecora closed out his 44th season at Pitt-Johnstown with 618 career victories.

Ealy, a native of Aliquippa, Pa. and a graduate of Hopewell High School, took over the starting spot at 141 lbs. as a true freshman and posted a 19-11 overall record and a 14-9 mark in dual meets to earn PSAC Freshman of the Year honors.  Ealy also claimed his first NCAA Super Region I title with a 6-4 decision over Mercyhurst's Alexis Soriano.

Kutztown's Andrew Dunn (285 lbs.) was chosen by the coaches as the PSAC Wrestling Athlete of the Year.

In all, eight Mountain Cats earned spots on All-PSAC Wrestling Teams.

Two-time regional champion and All-American Brendan Howard (125 lbs.) (27-2, 21-2 dual meets), Ealy (141 lbs.), and two-time National Champion and three-time regional champion Chris Eddins (149 lbs.) (28-2, 24-0 dual meets) were all selected to the first team.

Red-shirt freshman Nate Smith (157 lbs.) (10-4, 8-4 dual meets), All-American and 2020 regional champion Brock Biddle (174 lbs.) (21-6, 16-5 dual meets), and 2019 National Champion Connor Craig (184 lbs.) (25-4, 19-3 dual meets) were second-team selections, while two-time All-American Devin Austin (165 lbs.) (22-5, 17-4 dual meets) and Allan Beattie (285 lbs.) (15-11, 10-9 dual meets) were named Third-Team All-PSAC.
