Mike Drahos and
Cody Trabert, along with five Pitt-Johnstown golfers with make the trip to Iron Valley Golf Club in Lebanon, PA for this weekend's 2022 PSAC Men's Golf Championships.
The opening round of the tournament will start on Friday at 10 a.m. at Iron Valley Golf Club, and will continue on Saturday, before concluding with Sunday's final round.
Pitt-Johnstown, coming off of a program-best fourth-place finish at last year's championships, will be led by
Mario Battaglia,
Sal Cerilli,
Mauricio Hernandez Esparza,
Mitch Jeffe, and 2021-22 PSAC Freshman of the Year
Justin Scally.
Pitt-Johnstown will have three players who achieved top 10 in the 2021 tournament. Jeffe tied for fifth,Battaglia placed ninth, and Scally tied for 10
th.
IUP comes back as the defending PSAC Men's Golf Champions, while Gannon was the 2021 runner-up. Mercyhurst, Pitt-Johnstown, and West Chester round out last year's Top-5 in the 10-team field.
