TEAM RESULTSÂ Â Â Â |Â Â Â Â INDIVIDUAL RESULTS
Mario Battaglia shot +15 (231) and finished in 14th place to pace Pitt-Johnstown's seventh-place finish at the 2022 PSAC Men's Golf Championships at Iron Valley Golf Club.
After shooting a 73 and 75 in the first two rounds, IUP's Guillermo Salazar fired a three-under par 69 in the final round to edge Gannon's Abe Holmes by one stroke to earn medalist honors.Â
IUP also took home the team title after collectively shooting seven-over par in the third round and finished +16 (880), 15 strokes better than Gannon, which came in second place.
Mauricio Hernandez Esparza tied for 20th at +19 (235). Justin Scally posted his best round of the tournament with a four-over par 76 to tie two other players for 28th. Sal Cerilli finished +29 (245) and ended up tied for 34th. Mitch Jeffe rounded out Pitt-Johnstown's top five with a +33 (249) to tie for 38th.
