



Fifteen Pitt-Johnstown wrestlers combined to post a 33-15 overall record at Sunday's NCAA Division I-dominated Journey Collegiate Classic in Bethlehem.
Pitt-Johnstown, the lone Division II team competing with all Division I teams, had four wrestlers who finished the day undefeated, including two-time All-American and No. 2-ranked
Jacob Ealy, who went 4-0 with three technical falls and a decision victory at 149 lbs.Â
Brock Biddle (184 lbs.), a three-time NCAA All-American, was 3-0 with three technical falls, while
Tony Salopek (184 lbs.) and
Isaiah Vance (185 lbs.) were both 3-0. Two of Vance's wins came by way of fall.
The Mountain Cats also got a 3-1 performance from red-shirt freshman
Trevon Gray at 125 lbs. In addition, 2022 All-American
Nate Smith (157 lbs.) and 2022 NCAA National Qualifiers
Caleb Morris (141 lbs.) and
Dillon Keane (165 lbs.),
Byron Daubert (133 lbs.),
Alex Weber (174 lbs.),
Dakoda Rodgers (197 lbs.),
Ty Broadway (197 lbs.), and
Oggie Atwood (285 lbs.) all recorded a pair of victories.
The Mountain Cats travel to East Stroudsburg on Wednesday to open the PSAC schedule, before returning home to host a Quad Match with Fairmont State (WV), King (TN), and Lake Erie (OH) on Dec. 2 in the Sports Center.
