Mitch Jeffe fired an overall 216, good enough to tie him for 11th place to lead the Mountain Cats in Monday and Tuesday's Malone-Glenmoor Fall Invitational at Canton, Ohio's Glenmoor Country Club.

As a team, Pitt-Johnstown shot 37-over par (901) to place 11th in the 16-team field.

Malone University's Connor Curry shot 14-under par (202) to take home medalist honors. Tiffin University won the team title after shooting an 847, 13 strokes better than Hillsdale University, which finished second with an 860 total team score.

Jeffe shot a two-under par 70 in round two that was sandwiched between a one-over 73 in both rounds one and three over the season-opening two-day tournament. 

Pitt-Johnstown's Sal Cerilli shot a 225 to finish tied for 42nd. Tyler Mocello ended up in a tie for 51st after firing a 227, while Justin Scally had a 233 to tie for 66th place. In his first collegiate tournament, Parker Hilchey rounded out the Mountain Cat's scoring with a 244.  Playing as an individual, Mauricio Hernandez Esparza tied for 37th with a 224 (73,78, 73).

The Mountain Cats will take part in the Gannon University Fall Classic at Erie's Whispering Woods Golf Club on Sunday and Monday.
