Parker Hilchey, competing as an individual, shot a four-over par 76 to finish tied for 20th place to pace Pitt-Johnstown in Gannon's Bud Elwell Fall Classic held at Whispering Woods Golf Club in Erie on Sunday.
As a team, Pitt-Johnstown placed 9th out of the 12-team field in a tournament that was originally scheduled to take place on Sunday and Monday, but weather forced the cancellation of Monday's second round.
Mario Battaglia and Sal Cerilli both fired a five-over par 77 to tie for 23rd place. Mitch Jeffe finished tied for 43rd with a +9 (81) and Justin Scally shot a +10 (82) to tie with four other players for 45th. Mauricio Hernandez rounded out the scoring with a 83 (+11) to tie for 50th.
Gannon won the tournament with a three-under 285 team score, one shot better than Ohio Dominican, which shot a two-under 286.
The Mountain Cats will compete in West Liberty's Tournament at Steubenville Country Club in Steubenville, Ohio next Monday and Tuesday.
