The seventh-ranked and undefeated Pitt-Johnstown wrestlers will host a non-conference match against 16th-ranked Glenville State (WV) College, Saturday at 7 p.m. in the Sports Center.

Head Coach Pat Pecora (47th season) and the Pitt-Johnstown Mountain Cats, ranked seventh in the NWCA Preseason National Poll, are 10-0 overall and 3-0 in the PSAC following a 28-6 victory over #14 Gannon, Wednesday night in the Sports Center. The Mountain Cats won eight of the 10 bouts, including top-ranked Jacob Ealy's 7-6 decision win over No. 2 Nick Young at 149 lbs. and No. 9 Nate Smith's 3-1 decision over Dom Means at 157 lbs.

The Mountain Cats are led by three-time All-American and eighth-ranked Brock Biddle at 184 lbs., two-time All-American and No. 1-ranked Jacob Ealy at 149 lbs., and 2022 All-American and ninth-ranked Nate Smith at 157 lbs.  In addition, 2022 NCAA National Qualifiers Caleb Morris (141 lbs.), and Dillon Keane (165 lbs.), ranked 11th nationally, are back in the line-up, as well as fifth-ranked Isaiah Vance (285 lbs.).

Glenville State, under third-year Head Coach Dylan Cottrell, was 14-6 prior to Thursday's match at fourth-ranked West Liberty (WV).  The Pioneers are also coming off of a 4-0 performance at last Saturday's Virginia Duals, including victories over Newport News Apprentice School (VA), Johns Hopkins (VA), Elizabethtown, and Kutztown.

The Pioneers are led by a pair of NCAA National Qualifiers in ninth-ranked Cole Houser at 184 lbs. and 12th-ranked Hunter DeLong at 174 lbs.  In addition, Jared Campbell is ranked third at 285 lbs., and Gavin Quiocho is 10th at 133 lbs.

Pitt-Johnstown and Glenville State met for the first time last season and the Mountain Cats came away with a 31-8 win over the Pioneers at the Kutztown Duals on Jan. 8.  Ealy (149 lbs.) and Biddle (174 lbs.) each won by technical fall to lead Pitt-Johnstown.

The Mountain Cats visit Seton Hill for a PSAC match next Saturday, before returning home for 2023 Winterfest Weekend and a conference match against Kutztown on Feb. 3 at 7 p.m. in the Sports Center.
