Dakoda Rodgers won by technical fall in the 197-lb. bout to put the match out of reach and help the ninth-ranked Pitt-Johnstown wrestlers improve to 11-0 with an impressive, 27-12, non-conference victory over 18^th-ranked Glenville State (WV) College, Saturday night in the Sports Center.
 
After Pit-Johnstown's Trevon Gray opened the match with a 14-6 major decision win over Devin Easton at 125 lbs., Glenville State took its lone lead of the night when 10^th-ranked Gavin Quiocho pinned Dajauhn Hertzog at 6:29 in the bout at 133 lbs.
 
The Mountain Cats won the next four matches to open-up a 19-6 advantage.  At 141 lbs., Caleb Morris dealt Ethan Hardy an 8-2 loss, and top-ranked Jacob Ealy won by forfeit at 149 lbs.  Ninth-ranked Nate Smith followed with a 6-2 win over Tristan Pugh at 157 lbs., and Dillon Keane, ranked 10^th at 165 lbs., defeated Gaetano DeLeonardis, 4-2.
 
The Pioneers tried to get back in it and cut the deficit to 19-12 with wins at 174 lbs. from No. 12 Hunter DeLong and No. 9 Cole Houser at 184 lbs., but Rodgers answered with a 15-0 technical fall at 4:51 over Devan Gauldin at 197 lbs. to put the match out of reach.
 
Pitt-Johnstown then closed out the match at 285 lbs. when fifth-ranked Isaiah Vance held off Gavin Shamblin, 5-3.
 
With the loss, Glenville State is now 15-7 on the year.

Pitt-Johnstown travels to a PSAC match at Seton Hill on Saturday, before returning home to celebrate Winterfest Weekend with a conference match against Kutztown on Feb. 3 at 7 p.m. in the Sports Center.
