The 13
th-ranked Pitt-Johnstown wrestlers, who extended their Sports Center winning streak to 52 straight matches last weekend, will host 20
th-ranked Ashland (OH) on Friday at 7 p.m. and Findlay (OH) on Saturday at 2 p.m.
Head Coach Pat Pecora (48th season) and the 13
th-ranked Pitt-Johnstown Mountain Cats have won four straight dual meets and enter the match at 4-1. Pitt-Johnstown is coming off of a, 43-3, victory over visiting King (TN), last Saturday in the Sports Center. The win over the Tornado extended the Mountain Cats' home winning streak to 52 consecutive matches and gave Coach Pecora his 650
th career victory.

Dillon Keane at 165 lbs., and 2023 National Qualifiers

th-ranked Ashland Eagles are 1-2 following a 20-19 home win over Mercyhurst on Wednesday. Ahland also had three place-winners at the Findlay (OH) Open on Nov. 18.
Drew Wiechers went 6-0 to claim the title at 157 lbs., while
Peyton Lemon was the runner-up and 184 lbs., and
Wyatt Bailey placed fifth at 285 lbs.
Ashland is led by two-three-time NCAA National Qualifier, two-time All-American, and No. 2 -ranked
Dan Beemer (184 lbs.), three-time National Qualifier, 2022 All-American, and No. 6-ranked
Drew Wiechers (157 lbs.), 2023 All-American and No. 4-ranked

Since the 2005-06 season, the Mountain Cats hold a 16-3 advantage in the season and have won the last 10 match-up, including a 25-9 win last season on Dec. 9 in Ashland, OH.

Findlay, receiving votes in the most recent NWCA Coaches Poll under 27

Head Coach Shawn Nelson, will wrestler its first dual meet of the season when it takes on the Mountain Cats on Saturday. Last Saturday, the Oilers competed in the Jim Koch Wisconsin Open and came away sixth-place finishes from
Mason Kleinberg (149 lbs.),
Gary Nilson (165 lbs.), and
Kenny Snyder (174 lbs.).
The Mountain Cats hold a 9-1 advantage in the series since 2005-06. Last year, Pitt-Johnstown earned a 30-9 victory in Findlay, OH Dec. 10. Second-ranked
Nate Smith defeated No. 11 Logan Sanom, 5-2, at 157 lbs., while Ealy (149 lbs.) won by technical fall and
Brock Biddle (184 lbs.) won by major decision for Pitt-Johnstown.
Following Friday and Saturday's matches, the Mountain Cats travel to the 2023 Midwest Classic in Indianapolis next weekend, before breaking for the holidays. Pitt-Johnstown will kick off the spring semester with the Mountain Cat Duals on Jan. 6 in the Sports Center.
