The University of Pittsburgh-Johnstown Mountain Cats will travel to the Norfolk State University this weekend with hopes of laying the groundwork for a return trip in March. NSU will be the hosts of this weekend's NCAA Division II Indoor Track and Field pre-National competition as well as the Division II National Championships in one month's time. This weekend will be a great opportunity for the Mountain Cats to familiarize themselves with the facility, the setting, and the competition.

The meet also holds great significance as it sets the stage for the National Championship meet on March 10^thand 11^th which will be the first time a Historically Black College and University (HBCU) will host a national championship.  The meet will take place at the Virginia Beach Sports Center.
