Cristian Thornton took home first-place in both the 200-Meter Dash and the 400-Meter Run and was the anchor of the Mountain Cats 4x400-Meter Relay Team that finished first to lead another strong showing Pitt-Johnstown men's track and field team at the Saint Francis Red Flash Invitational in Loretta.

Thornton won the 200-Meter Dash at (21.85), while teammates Andrew Jeffrey (22.14) was third, Michael Ifidon (23.01) was third, Blake Lauper (50.28) was fifth, and Donovan Stanley-Reeves (23.47) was seventh.

In the 400-Meter Run, Thornton claimed the title at 48.95, while Lauper (50.28) was third, Jeffrey (51.22) was seventh, and Kenneth Robison (52.60) was ninth.

In addition, Ififdon (11.00), Johnson (11.46), and Stanley-Reeves (11.48) were fourth, seventh, and eight, respectively in the 100-Meter Dash, and Charlie Levander (56.88) and Marcello Legister (59.22) placed second and third in the 400-Meter Hurdles.

Michael Hanik was fourth in the Steeple (10:40, Legister was fifth in the 100-Meter Hurdles (16.58), and Luke Cimakasky was eighth in the 800-Meter Run at 1:58.64.

Jeffrey, Lauper, Noah Lee, and Thornton won the 4x400-Meter Relay at 3:24.03, while Marcello, Levander, Robison, and Finnian Sieg were third at 3:35.28.  The 4x100-Meter Relay team of Stanley-Reeves, Jeffrey, Thronton, and Ifidon placed second at 42.24.

In the field events, Attannucci (3.90 Meters) and Sieg (3.40 Meters) were second and third in the Pole Vault, Hunter Johnson (6.49 Meters) and Noah Ser (5.96 Meters) were fifth and seventh in the Long Jump, and Bryce Batche (44.41 Meters) and Nicholas DeMatteis (35.42 Meters) were second and sixth in the Discus.

The Mountain Cats also got a fourth-place finish from Clay Engle In the Triple Jump (13.52 Meters), and a seventh-place finish from Jaylen Cooper in the Shot Put (13.13 Meters).
