Head Coach Pat Pecora and the 11
th-ranked Pitt-Johnstown wrestlers will welcome Frostburg State (MD), 16
th-ranked Grand Valley State (MI), and No. 9 UNC-Pembroke for the 2024 Mountain Cat Duals, Saturday in the Sports Center. Wrestling will begin with dual meets on two mats at 11:30 a.m.

Pitt-Johnstown, ranked 11
th in the most recent NWCA National Poll, is 5-2 in dual meets. The Mountain Cats are coming off of a sixth-place finish in a 51-team field at the Midwest Classic in Indianapolis on Dec. 16-17.
Isaiah Vance claimed the title at 285 lbs. to lead four Mountain Cats who placed.
Jacob Ealy was the runner-up at 149 lbs., while
Dakoda Rodgers placed third at 197 lbs., and
Trevon Gray finished eighth at 125 lbs.
The Mountain Cats are led by three-time All-American and second-ranked Ealy at 149 lbs., and 2023 NCAA National Qualifiers Vance, ranked third at 285 lbs., Rodgers, ranked seventh at 197 lbs., and Gray, ranked 12
th at 125 lbs. In addition, Pitt-Johnstown also has NCAA National Qualifiers
Byron Daubert (133 lbs.) and
Dillon Keane (165 lbs.) in its lineup.
First-year
Head Coach Josh Hutchens' Frostburg State Bobcats come in at 6-8 after suffering three setbacks to nationally-ranked teams at the West Liberty (WV) Hilltopper Duals on Dec. 17. After a 32-17 loss to 13
th-ranked Ohio Northern, Frostburg State fell to second-ranked West Liberty, 42-8, and 11
th-ranked Millersville, 34-14.
Grand Valley State, ranked 16
th under second-year
Head Coach Joey Simcoe, is 5-1 in dual meets and is coming off of a 13
th-place finish at the Midwest Classic on Dec. 16-17. Four Grand Valley State wrestlers are nationally-ranked, including
Chris Donathan (149 lbs.) and
Josh Kenny (174 lbs.), who are both ranked third.
Aaron Lucio is eighth at 125 lbs., and
Wyatt Miller is 12
th at 197 lbs.
Head Coach Othello Johnson (13
th season) and the ninth-ranked
UNC Pembroke Braves improved to 7-3 following Tuesday's 27-25 victory over Newberry (SC). The Braves also placed 12
th at the Midwest Classic in December and third at the Citrus Invitational in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. on Dec. 30. Four UNC Pembroke wrestlers are ranked, led by
Scott Joll, who's second at 174 lbs. Two-time National Qualifier
Logan Seliga is fifth at 125 lbs., while
Keegan Roberson is ranked sixth at 157 lbs., and National Qualifier
Jake Piccirilli is seventh at 149 lbs. In addition,
Logan Robinson (133 lbs.) is also a returning National Qualifier for the Braves.
Following Saturday's Quad Match, Pitt-Johnstown will host a PSAC Match against No. 14 Millersville on Jan. 12, before competing in the Shippensburg Duals on Jan. 20. The Mountain Cats will then return home to host a conference match against Seton Hill on Jan. 26 in the Sports Center.
