Men's Golf Earns No 7 Seed; Locks Down Second NCAA Regional Championships Berth

Coaches Mike Drahos and Cody Trabert's Pitt-Johnstown men's golf team earned the No. 7 seed in the Atlantic Region and secured the program's second ever berth in next week's NCAA Atlantic/East Region Championships when the NCAA announced this year's field on Friday.

This year's Atlantic/East Region Tournament will take place May 9-11 at Oglebay Resort-Jones Course in Wheeling, W.Va.

Pitt-Johnstown made it's first ever NCAA Golf Regional Championships appearance in 2022 as th No. 9-seed in the Atlantic Region.

In all, 80 teams and 32 student-athletes competing as individuals have been selected to participate in regional competition.  The top five teams and the top two student-athletes not with a team from each regional will advance to the finals, May 21-25 at the Orange County National Golf Center and Lodge in Winter Garden, Florida.  The finals will be hosted by Rollins College and the Greater Orlando Sports Commission.

Tournaments will be conducted at four regional sites with regional pairings as follows:
Atlantic and East
Central and Midwest
South and Southeast
South Central and West
