For the first time in program history, Coach
Cody Trabert and the Mountain Cat men's golf team will host an event when 15 teams and nearly 100 golfers compete in Monday and Tuesday's inaugural Pitt-Johnstown Sunnehanna Collegiate at historic Sunnehanna Country Club.
Monday's first round is schedule to begin at 9 a.m. starting on the first hole, and Tuesday's second round tee times will start n hole No. 1 and No. 10 at 9 a.m.
Pitt-Johnstown will be joined by fellow PSAC members Bloomsburg, California (PA), Clarion, Gannon, Indiana (PA), Millersville, Shepherd, and West Chester. In addition, Mountain East Conference members Davis & Elkins (WV), West Liberty (WV), and West Virginia Wesleyan, Great Midwest Conference members Malone (OH) and Ohio Dominican, and Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference member Goldey Beacom (DE) will be in this year's field.
The Mountain Cats will enter two teams of five players. The scores from the top group will be used for the NCAA Regional and National Rankings, while the remaining five players will be playing as individuals. The Mountain Cats' two groups will be decided at a later time.
