Nathan Mienke came away with a 22
nd-place finish in the season-opening Lebanon Valley College Dutchmen Invitational to guide the Pitt-Johnstown men's cross country team to an eighth-place team finish.
Lebanon Valley's Rory Lieberman earned medalist honors with a time of 25:05 on the 8K course at Union Canal Tunnel Park in Lebanon to lead the Dutchmen to the team title with 21 points. Pitt-Johnstown finished eighth with 217 points.

nd-place finish at 26:53.4 in the field that featured 14 teams, eight partial teams, and over 180m runners led the Mountain Cats' top-five runners.
Nicholas Kelly (28:28.1) and
Charlie Banks (28:38.1) finished 64
th and 67th, respectively for Pitt-Johnstown, while
Brandt Patterson was 71
st at 28:42.3 and
Ryan Hayes was 109
th at 29:53.6.
Following Lebanon Valley's meet-best 21 points, Ursinus was the runner up with 66 points. Moravian (111 points) was third and Susquehanna and Scranton tied for fourth with 113 points.
Pitt-Johnstown travels to the Bethany (WV) College Invitational next Saturday and to the Lock Haven University Invitational on Sept. 28.
