The 15^th-ranked Pitt-Johnstown wrestlers won nine of the 10 bouts with bonus points, including a three by fall and four others by technical fall in a lopsided 51-0 victory over Fairmont State (WV) to wrap-up Saturday's tri-match in the Sports Center.  The Mountain Cats made it four consecutive dual meet wins and improved to 6-2 on the year.
 
The Mountain Cats were off and running from the start.  No. 8 Trevon Gray opened the match by pinning Caden Delwarte at 2:34, before Tyson Cook secured a 16-0 technical fall at 4:29 over Nathan Pelesky at 133 lbs.
 
At 141 lbs., Mason Myers quickly pinned Caden Bayer at 1:42 and Chad Ozias won a 20-4 technical fall over Austin High at 149 lbs. to give Pitt-Johnstown commanding, 22-0 advantage.
 
The Mountain Cats used Cooper Warshel's 17-2 technical fall at 2:26 over Jim Green at 157 lbs., and a 17-7 major decision win from Gavyn Beck at 165 lbs. to push it out to 31-0, before Tony Salopek earned Pitt-Johnstown fourth technical fall win of the match.  Salopek defeated Makiya Powell 20-4 at 6:37.
 
Following a forfeit win by Noah Gnibus at 184 lbs., No. 8 Dakoda Rodgers pinned Ethan Babay at 2:41 of the opening period at 197 lbs., and red-shirt freshman Michael Mazurek made his Pitt-Johnstown dual meet debut and used a take down a minute into overtime to earn a 7-4 win and set the final at 51-0.
 
With the loss, the Fighting Falcons dropped to 2-5.
 
Pitt-Johnstown will host a Tri-Match with Fairmont State (WV) and Findlay (OH) on Jan. 11 starting at 11 a.m. in the Sports Center, before hosting a PSAC match against Kutztown on Jan. 17 at 7 p.m.
