






The Pitt-Johnstown baseball team will celebrate Senior Day with a PSAC Western Division doubleheader against Indiana (PA), Saturday afternoon starting at 1 p.m. at Point Stadium.

The Mountain Cats, 13-26 overall and 4-16 in the PSAC West prior to Friday's scheduled games at Indiana (PA), are coming off of a 15-7 non-conference win over Mansfield on Tuesday.
Erik Rhodes had four hits and three RBI, and
Brody Roberts drove in four against the Mountaineers. Last weekend, Pitt-Johnstown lost three-of-four PSAC West games to Lock Haven.
IUP, under fourth-year
Head Coach Steve Kline, was 18-23 overall and 11-9 in the PSAC before Friday's games. On Wednesday,
Cayden Bender's grand slam led the Crimson Hawks to an 8-4 non-conference win at Wheeling (WV). IUP also suffered four conference losses to California (PA) last week.
Since Pitt-Johnstown joined the PSAC for the 2013-24 season, IUP holds a narrow 21-19-1 advantage in the series. Last Year, the Mountain Cats and Crimson Hawks split four conference games. IUP swept Pitt-Johnstown 6-2 and 10-1 in Indiana on April 26, before the Mountain Cats bounced back with 2-0 and 2-1 wins at Point Stadium the next day.
Pitt-Johnstown will visit Division I Kent State (OH) for a non- conference game on Tuesday, then end the 2025 regular season with a four-game PSAC West series against California (PA). The Mountain Cats will host the Vulcans on Thursday, then finish the series on Friday in Washington, Pa.
