Head Coach
Cody Trabert and the Pitt-Johnstown men's golf team earned their second straight and third overall berth in the NCAA Atlantic/East Regional Tournament when the NCAA released this year's field, Friday Evening. The Mountain Cats will be seed fifth when this year's tournament take place from May 8-10 at Whispering Woods Golf Club in Erie.
Pitt-Johnstown made its first appearance in the NCAA Regional in 2022, before earning a spot and finishing 13th in the 20-team field.
Eighty teams and 32 student-athletes competing as individuals have been selected to participate in regional competition. The top five teams and the top two student-athletes not with a team from each regional will advance to the finals May 19-23 at PGA National Resort in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. The remaining eight team berths will be allocated based on the regions represented in the prior year's head-to-head medal play portion of the championships, with the maximum number of teams from a given region capped at seven.
Tournaments will be conducted at four regional sites with regional pairings as follows:
