Men's Cross Country Picked 12th, Women 14th in PSAC Preseason Coaches Poll

First-year Head Coach Anthony Dean-Neil's Pitt Johnstown men's cross country team hs been picked to finish 12th in a 15-team field, while the Mountain Cat women were picked 14th in a 17-team field when the conference office released the 2025 preseason coaches poll, Wednesday afternoon.

On the men's side, Shippensburg garnered 14 of the 15 first-place votes and was selected by the coaches to win the conference championship.  East Stroudsburg earned one first-place vote.

In a tighter women's race, Slippery Rock got 10 of the 17 first-place votes and sits atop of the poll.  East Stroudsburg received six first-place votes, and Shippensburg got one vote.

The Pitt-Johnstown men's and women's teams will kick-off the 2025 season at the Edinboro Doug Watts Open on Sept. 6.
