The Pitt-Johnstown men's cross country recorded an 18th place finish in the 22-team field competing in the Crimson Division of the Lock Haven University Invitational on Saturday morning.
Sophomore Aiden Lechleitner placed 111th overall with a time of 27:00.8. Close behind was Brandt Patterson in 127th at 27:16.3. Ryan Hayes crossed in 28:22.6 for 163rd, followed by Kaden Markovich at 29:35.4 (181st). Tyler Harold finished in 30:23.7 for 190th.
Rounding out the Mountain Cats' lineup, Gavin Smith (196th, 32:29.2) and Joel Weber (197th, 32:40.5) finished just seconds apart.
The Mountain Cats will compete in the Carnegie Mellon University Invitational on Saturday, Oct. 11 in Pittsburgh.
