Heidelberg, OH — A pair of third-place finishers highlighted the Pitt-Johnstown men's track and field's trip to Heidelberg's Larry Brown Invitational on Friday.
Sebastian Ramirez-Galindo placed third in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:08.15.
In the 200-meter run, Daniel Presto captured sixth place out of 37 competitors with a time of 23.50. Anthony Dicesaro followed close behind in 10th place at 23.88 seconds, while Austin Yarnick checked in at 12th at 24.19 seconds.
Adam Lechleitner secured fifth place in the 1-mile run with a time of 4:34.89. Brandt Patterson was in 9th place at 4:44.06. Dominion Jacobs took fourth in the 400-meter run with a time of 51.52 seconds.
In the field events, Ryan Porch carried third place in the long jump with a distance of 6.81 meters. The Mountain Cats had three others finish in the top 10 out of 18 competitors in that event, including Isaiah Dyer (6.55), Hunter Johnson (6.43) and Nicholas Bognar (6.39). Noah Ser finished 11th at 5.98 meters.
Ser also claimed fourth place out of nine competitors in the high jump with a distance of 1.85 meters.
Pitt-Johnstown will compete in Tiffin University's Jeremy Croy Classic next Saturday.
