Pitt-Johnstown junior right-hander Mahlon Yonkin was named the PSAC West Softball Pitcher of the Week on Tuesday after posting a 2-0 record with a 0.54 ERA in a pair of complete-games at the Triangle Classic in Raleigh, NC last weekend.

In a 9-1 win over Davis & Elkins (WV) on Saturday, Yonkin allowed just one hit and one unearned run in six innings.  She also fanned three and walked three.

On Sunday, Yonkin tossed all seven innings in the Mountain Cats' 3-1 win over Fayetteville State.  Yonkin limited the Broncos to one run on seven hits, while striking out seven and walking one.

Pitt-Johnstown went 3-2 at the Triangle Classic, and Yonkin accounted for two of those wins.
