The Pitt-Johnstown baseball team will play host to Shippensburg in its final non-conference game of the 2026 season, Tuesday afternoon at Point Stadium. Game time is scheduled for 1 p.m.

Lucas Muffie connected for a three-run homer in Saturday's 15-9 series opening loss at Point Stadium, before the Mountain Cats got a two-run home run from Muffie and a two-run walk-off base hit from
Tate Minich in a 7-6 win in the nightcap. On Sunday in Erie, the Golden Knights earned 8-4 and 5-3 wins to close out the series.
Shippensburg is 23-16 overall under 19
th-year Head Coach Matt Jones after losing four straight PSAC East games to East Stroudsburg on Friday and Saturday. The Red Raiders also took three-of-four conference games from 18
th-ranked West Chester the previous weekend.
Last season, the Mountain Cats and Red Raiders met in Shippensburg on April 9 and Pitt-Johnstown came away with a 6-5 victory.
Calvin Iseminger went 2-for-3 with an RBI and two runs, while
Noah Donis and
Crusen Stover each had two hits for the Mountain Cats.
Kyle Ausgotharp collected three hits and drove in two, and
Caleb Newcomer added a pair of hits, including a solo home run for Shippensburg.
Pitt-Johnstown will begin a four-game PSAC West series at Lock Haven on Friday, before concluding the series with a doubleheader at Point Stadium on Saturday.
