Mountain Cats to Honor Seniors, Finish Home Slate Against IUP on Thursday

and the Pitt-Johnstown baseball team will celebrate Senior Day following Thursday's 2026 home finale against Indiana (PA) at Point Stadium.  Game times for the PSAC Western Division doubleheader are scheduled for 1 and 3:30 p.m.
 
Following the conference doubleheader, the Mountain Cats will recognize six seniors…Seth Coleman, Jared Dowey, Brian Pirone, Riley Roskopf, Cole Sansom, and Ben Tomb.
 
Pitt-Johnstown, 17-29 and 7-17 in the PSAC West, split four conference games with Lock Haven last weekend.  The Mountain Cats suffered a 14-9 loss then bounced back with a 12-9 win in Thursday's doubleheader in Lock Haven, before suffering a 5-1 loss and an 8-3 victory over the Bald Eagles on Saturday in Johnstown.
 
Head Coach Steve Kline (5th season) and the IUP Crimson Hawks are 27-19 overall and 14-10 in the PSAC West following Tuesday's, 5-4, non-conference at West Liberty.  The Crimson Hawks also took 3-of-4 conference games from California (PA) last weekend.
 
Last year, IUP swept the four-game PSAC West series against the Mountain Cats.  The Crimson Hawks picked up 12-4 and 2-0 wins in Indiana on April 25, then earned 6-0 and 11-4 victories in Johnstown on April 26.
 
Pitt-Johnstown will finish the 2026 season and close out the four-game series with the Crimson Hawks with pair of games in Indiana on Friday.
